BOATING AND YACHTING is a major British industry.
The British Marine Federation’s 1,550 members account for about 76 per cent of the industry’s turnover and between them employ around 22,325 people.
Members are drawn from both the seagoing and inland sectors of the marine industry covering the leisure boat, hire fleet, commercial workboat and superyacht categories and supporting services.
